Description: Cricket and Rugby to change the lives of the underprivileged! Cricket 4 Change aims to use cricket and rugby to take children on a journey. Along the ride, development staff members will make young people aware about their future and especially about employment. To achieve this task, mentors ensure the young people stay out of trouble, and spend time on the pitch (instead of off the pitch doing drugs etc).

How it began: It began with the Brixton Riots of 1981. The riots led to the formation of the London Community Cricket Association (LCCA). It developed projects (sports and social welfare) to get unemployed and directionless young people to train as cricket coaches.
